I STILL CAN'T BELIVE I SAW SOMEONE FROM SS501! AND NOT JUST ANYONE, MY 2ND BIAS?!

i need to properly spazz abt it here so that when i start forgetting abt it a few months down the road, i have somewhere to get back to and refreash my memory LOL
i'm already starting to forget the moment when he looked at me coz i was stunned and i totally blanked out.
only rmb his voice and face and the way he said MIMI a few times ><
ahhhhh.

when i got home, i stayed downstairs for awhile before going up to call alicia and spazz to her.
i was seriously hyperventilating and all the words were rushing out of me so fast LOL

27/08 - 29/08, these 3 days were epic (:

friday
i don't usually rate my b'days each year but this year was definitely the most memorable.
had driving in the morning and then guitar in the afternoon.
alicia got me this really cute/delicious cheese cake (i thought it was pandan cake at first LOL). i think i ate most of it haha xD

had the last guitar lesson and it was kinda sad when it came to an end.
no more laughing over silly lyrics (MY SWEET MOONBEAM hehe)
no more sunday gatherings
and i'll miss playing guitar with the rest of them. it wouldn't be the same playing alone.
even though i started out extremely musically challenged, i did learn some things and wasn't totally horrible at playing (but i AM kinda pathetic at playing) haha
and we added gabriel on fb so that we can keep in touch and maybe one fine day gather to play together again? (:

went out for dinner and i realllyyy loved the place lol
i camwhored alot, not of myself but of others and food/non-human things xD
came home and had strawberry shortcake, which i shamelessly asked my mum to get for me LOL. it's really nice okay! xD

oh and serena made me this 2011 calender which is damn cute. i didn't want her to get me anything coz for the past 3 years we haven't been giving each other any presents but she did and i kinda feel bad now D:

saturday
had qmul sing soc gathering at one of the senior's house.
met really nice seniors and there were only 1 other freasher who i didn't know. so ended up the seniors outnumbered the freashers haha
we heard some freaky stories about getting mugged/gay-raped?! HAHA and yea, other stories as well.
so kinda feel abit nervous now LOL
kkay, just have to follow my blur instincts xD
me, charlotte and vathany left earlier coz i wanted to go to the airport to see HYUNG JUN! (BB)

the rest of us were kinda familiar with the happenings cept alicia.
she was so funny when she smsed me with "DEFINE MANY" when i asked her if there were many ppl already coz i was running late haha xD
even yunsu managed to show up earlier.
anw, according to them, my voice was even even more high-pitched and mosquito-like when i started squealing to them abt seeing BB. LOL
but he was just sooo gorgeous and hot in person!
and he totally beats snow white in terms of fairness LOL
and he's soo sweet!
and i totally died after that one glance at him.

but what happened after receiving BB was even more epic.
unnaa offered to drive me and yunsu home and drop off alicia, chun and bern at bedok.
and seriously, i felt like i was entering a new phase in life when my friend was fetching me home HAHA
so we all got on, excited but ended up distracting unnaa so badly that she accidentally took the PIE instead of ECP LOL
srsly, it sooo wasn't her fault. i think we were too distracting hahah xD
what happened after that in the car can't be described in words.
briefly, we ended up touring atleast 1/4 of singapore at midnight.
epic lines were said including chun's "i see sth, oh it's just drive safely" and yunsu's "no no unnaa we can't drop them off here, it's geylang!"
me and bern were going high in the back of the car while chun and alicia were trying to direct unnaa. well, mostly chun since alicia was caught up in an occassional giggling fit xD
so anw, we all managed to end up home safely haha.
and i'll never forget our late night JOYRIDE ♥

dear crush,

you obviously don't know me and there's a 99.99999% chance that you'll never know my existance. needless to say, i know alot more about you than you know about me. i wish i knew you earlier.

i love your voice; that would be the main reason i like you, i guess. of course, i like your personality too and some of your interests are my interests as well. like for one, i always wanted to design clothes and own my own line; maybe have a small cozy boutique that would be as pretty as the clothes i make. however, that's more like a fantasy to me because i can't see myself doing something like that. but seeing you do it makes me happy and makes me wanna support you. it's always great to see someone fulfiling their dreams one by one.

another reason why i like you is you have the right amount of self-confidence. i lack in that aspect, sadly. truthfully, you aren't one of the most popular guy out there and even in your own group, you rank in the bottom. but that doesn't put you down. even if it does, you don't show it and carry yourself with the right amount of self-esteem. your confidence in yourself is never hampered and that reflects in your actions. i wish i had atleast half of your confidence.

i loved it when you said that you don't have an idol but you yourself hope to become an idol to other people. some people might think you're being arrogant but to me, that reflects confidence in your abilities and a desire to spur other people to achive their goals to the best of their abilities.

i wish i'm able to see you atleast once in my lifetime, regardles of whether you're still my crush or not. actually, crush isn't even the right word for you. anyways, i hope you succeed in whatever you do and i would be sure to look out for you in the future. eat carrots and be happy always.

i fail at consistancy since i stopped the 30-day ss501 challenge halfway as well.
sheesh.

i guess i saw a need of my blog in future
esp when i'm being a loner in my small room in uk.lol
kkay, i'm being super pessimistic.
it's more like, i want a place to rant, like i used to before getting so into tumblr that i forgot all about this one D:

honestly, tumblr is really addictive.
esp with all the amazing people there, it's so happening and all.
i'm like always spazzing over sth with someone, there.
but while doing that, i haven't been ranting about my boring life enough.
okay, it hasen't been so boring, esp with the korea trip and everything.
so, i actually have alot to write (and typing is better than writing it in my diary which is usually reserved for extreme moments lol).

anyways, everyone started/going to start uni.
cept me. i still have a month or so to go before i get dragged to hell as well.
it's not that i'm totally depressed about going to uk.
part of me is really excited at the prospect but a bigger part is really worried about having to live alone and struggling with assignments/exams all over again.
after the 8 months break, it feels as if i no longer have a brain to work with.
seriously, i feel like mine degenrated much more than my friends' did LOL.
so yea, worried about all the schoolwork and stuff.

the greatest worry though is being without my family/friends.
i never had to look after myself, wash my own clothes, cook my own food, etc etc.
and everytime i felt emo/stressed, i had my mum to whine to until i felt better.
or friends, to call up and chat.
meet for random shopping trips and rant to them about everything.
i don't know how am i gonna survive in uk without all of these in my life.
sure there's the internet but it can only do so much.
it can never beat spazzing over which magazines to buy in kino
or ht-hts
or hitting my bro and being all smug about it
or baking with my mum.
and the list goes on.

i know i can't just look at all the things i'm gonna be missing out on.
there's so many more things that i'll get to experience. hopefully.
i'm just hoping and wishing that my uni life would be such that it wouldn't let me miss everything here terribly.
it doesn't have to be fantastic, it just has to be sth that won't make me feel like coming back to sg everyday.
that's all.

on another note, my qmul med classmates from sg all seem really nice (:
i haven't really met 2 of the guys but the other 3 are people i am comfortable with i guess.
and my budget buddyyy! hahaha omg i'm so glad you're going. reallyy! x3
the few seniors i met during the smsl-uk freasher's gathering seemed nice and approachable (:
hopefully, my non-sg coursemates and seniors would be as friendly as these people.
looking forward to the qmul singapore society gathering this saturday!
i realised that one of my tkgs seniors (who was in library soc and knew yisi) is also going qmul this year! yay~
the more the merrier (:

anyways, back to all my friends getting busy with uni,
i'm already getting scared of uni life from what i hear from them.
it's assignments and projects from the very first day! omg?!
and some even have exams already.

lastly, i guess the highlight of the week is hyung jun's fanmeet this sunday.

was a bad day.
wanted to come home and relax, take my mind off things for awhile by spazzing over double S.
so i started watching random vids on youtube
and realised that there's so many things i missed when i didn't know them for the 3 years in which they had been active as a GROUP the most
and then i read some depressing news about them
hence, the depressed post.

i always turned to SS whenever i needed a small escape from problems
but now, they became one of the problems
sheesh.

just as i was about to recall the golden old days (of both mine and SS), i realised that i accidentally missed driving class today
wrote it down in my notebook but never checked.

and i feel as if my head's about to blow up
with the constant head aches, problems, hopelessness and now this.
like seriously, i don't know if there's any positive things left to look forward to now
and i have to deal with everything that's been goin on since i no longer have an escape route.

day 02 - A rumor about any of the members that left you an impression
i'll agree that i easily get swayed by rumors, esp rumours regarding these 5 people haha. but the most significant one has to be the rumor regarding leader having a korean-canadian gf who's apprantly studying in uni in canada now and he even went to visit her in canada. APPARANTLY.
didn't really leave any long-lasting impression even though i was quite hyped up at first coz i got to know it damn late haha.
even though it's just a rumor. or maybe not XD
dunno if that fit the qs but oh wells.

haha but okay, i'll pick one (out of the hundreds in my collection ;D)

this was from the solo interview time during we got married.
i shd mention that it was a HARD TASK finding a pic since i pretty much stare at all his pics a few times haha.
but i guess, a old one would be more fitting than a new one since i would have spent a considerable amount of time looking at it.
i like any pics in which he smiles; perfect teeth (pearly white wide smile? hehe) and the strawberry face shape becomes more prominant. and the way his eyes almost close but doesnt close all together since his eyes are much mch bigger than other korean guys haha.

going out with xiaowei always, ALWAYS means that i spend money. haha
in a good way because i end up buying sth useful (or hopefully). got this overnight face mask tube from The Face Shop which smells and feels damn niceee! (:

i was so touched when i read this portion from a fan report of the album signing event and celebrating leader's b'day today.

-Leader said "Thank you for coming today. This is the first time to have a birthday party with my fans for me."
- Jung Min said "I don't like this photo of cake. It's too old." (hahaha. I was told the photo was from season of Warning promotion. I want to see what it is)
- Our boys were going to sing "Happy birthday to You" to Leader.
- Leader suggested other song to them instantly.
- Our boys said "Let's sing "Warning" to remind our debut".
- After their song, all fans sang Happy birthday song.
- Leader said to fans, "Thank you. Let's be together until 50th Anniversary." (Yeah~~~~~~)
- Suddenly, Love Ya was played in the venue.
- Many fans sang along but they couldn't follow rap part.
- So Leader said to fans "Don't pretend that you know the lyrics!! Don't Sing!!" (hahahahaha)
- He also said "Let's make it tremendous when we comeback. I hope many fans will come to Music Bank on 4th of June"

didn't blog for exactly 1 month.
sheesh.
but i've been busy. driving, work and something that particularly tires me out on the days i have it. so tired that i feel like sleeping the second i come home.

but, i've gotten myself a new obsession, which makes me feel like blogging again (since i usually spazz random obsession stuff on here) (:

anyways, SS501 new album came out! YAYY :DDDD
i fell asleep (coz i had that sth after work) and when i woke up at 12 plus am, saw all the mp3s on youtube! and then i got too excited to sleep and was totally hyperventilating. so much so that had to sms ball to let some of that excitement out. haha but yes, after that it was close to impossible to sleep. suddenly, my itouch became much more valuable to me ;D

i don't do music reviews (coz i know nuts abt music) but i LOVE THE ALBUM SO SO SO SO FREAKING MUCH that i keep playing the whole thing over and over again. notice, the WHOLE THING and not just 1 or 2 songs. this has to be the first time i like all the songs in a particular album.

all 5 of them sounds sooo good but jungmin's voice in particular totally gives me shivers. in a good way haha.
so, i went on a crazy spree of saving jungmin's pics (since i never liked him this much before) ytd after coming back from work until eventually falling asleep on my lappy.
i never really noticed but he's so unique among the 5 of them (voice, look-wise, everything).
haha so yea, my latest obsession, jung minniee! (:
hopefully i can visit his Royal Avenue showroom and cafe when i go korea!~

i'm not exactly emo or anything? i know i might have sent out the wrong message today during guitar coz i hardly said anything, which is so unlike me when i'm with all of them, but i just wasn't in the mood. sorry peeps D:

it's just that there are some positive things that keep me going everyday, some not so positive things that make me question myself and some other things that i've been putting off for a long long time.
since january actually, and it's been 4 months already? another 4 more to go.
i would like to say it's not too late yet but then again, i'm always going to regret the 4 months i already lost.
dunno why i find it soooo hard to do sth for my own good.

tried on almost all the nail polishes on display in the Face Shop and bought this real black one because sadia's obsessed with pitch black nails hahaha. it DID look nice though (on her nails) ;D

it's awesomee to hang out with her. i'm gonna miss all that when she goes to canada. or i go to uk >_<

since i don't feel like ending off in an emo way, i shd mention that we saw these VIBRATING Lancome mascaras at takashimaya! so cool! haha felt weird on my lashes though XD

and that brings me to makeup, which i'm totally obsessing about these days.

oh, been watching project runway australia and loving it. it reminds me of the time i wanted to be a fashion designer/interior designer. well, look how far from that i am now haha. i wish they had some an elective within the main med course where we could study fashion designing or sth. haha kkay that's insane XD

onto other more sane things, work's pretty laid back, like duh lol. and i dont get home too late so that gives me enough time to do the things that are "suppossed to be done". ok, WILL BE DONE. whatever.

oh yes, and recently i've been finding all these really gorgeous words; they are gorgeous because i love how they sound and look hehe. anyways, i decided to make a small book of my own collection of exotic words and phrases, since i have loads of time and might as well squeeze in abit of education amidst all the random things i've been doing(:

lastlyyy, bought NEW MOON DVD yesterday!
they gave me this HUGEE poster which i stuck on my wall with double sided tape but in the middle of the night, it made a screechy sound and fell off from the wall.

i was just re-re-watching new moon and was thinking how unfair life is.

and when they actually refer to bella as an "average girl", they are totally being wrong since she's so not average in many ways, some of which are;

those stuff just can't be coincidence. It's like, duh, you're no normal and thats why you get edward.

watched valentines day today with alicia-unna-chan-yisi-yunsu-bern!

it wasn't the greatest movie but definitely my kinda movie! hehe
coz you see, it was funny, didn't have a complex plot that i would spend half the movie time thinking about, had a lot of hot guys (even though the one i really liked turned out gay!) and was just light-headed.
was nice (:
when the movie ended, chun ling pointed out that almost the whole audience was made up of couples. TWOSOMES! and we were kinda the only 7SOMES there! haha XD i mean, i bet that's why the ticket girl at the counter kept on smiling at us when we were buying the tickets! ;D

oh yea, i should make a mental note of note saying out the word vibrater the next time. sheesh XD

anywayss, we went on to plan our sleepover this sat.

on to other things, just a while ago i read an article about how hyun joong send a hand-written letter and a bunny doll to a thai fan who was apparantly in hospital after a kidney transplant and was too sick to make it to the concert.
i have no idea how the heck he got to such information but i was kinda touched by what he did.
okay finee, ruling out the slightest possibility that his manager suggested this to him to further heighten his popularity, but that would just be twisted to think so far T_T
anyways, it's just i haven't heard of many kpop celebs doing such things for their fans so it seemed pretty unique to me (:

i'm having the worst jet lag since i was 12.
and that was when i went to europe.
it's like 4.27 am?! goshh it's not just insomnia now, issit.

anyways, the whole trip went ok.
i would have said rather well but my dad got struck by the mean english flue viruses and had a terrible, terrible fever.
even then, i was surprised he was so eager on going out to oxford street to SHOP.
ahh sighs.
i might get really angry with him at times (or most of the times) but i really do wish he would take care of himself more.

so the interviews were fine. hopefully.
cept, those hags at kings' totally pissed me off after like 15sec in the room.
and i was soo cursing under my breath.
when i finished elaborating on the case study, i swear he wanted to pick put loop-holes in my argument and try to smirk at me more but too bad he didn't find any.

i cooked a shepherd's pie todayy! (:
it was soooo niceee!
i mean, obviously it wasnt the exact english dish that you eat at a fancy restraunt, but it was SOMETHING!
ok well, the mashed potato on top didn't turn completely brown but it still tasted awesomeee.
and coz i cooked it!
i'm so nyaaaaa!~ proud of myself! coz like i can hardly pour hot water in a bowl of instant noodles withou scalding myself XD

and i topped it off with an orange bacardi breezer! XD
it's sooo my favourite drink of all times!
i mean, it's hardly alcohol and yet hardly taste like common orange juice.
if not for the slightly over price, i would so get it often
but hey, maybe having it once in a while keeps the awesome taste (:

ahh today was a nice day.
i met some extremely friendly ppl when i went out to grab some ingredients from cold storage.
there was this elderly woman who were willing to offer me her place in the taxi stand coz she saw all the plastic bags i was carrying.
that was really unusual and warm.
people usualy fight for a spot at the taxi que and if they don't get it, silently bitch about.
i was really touched!
anyways, in the cab, the driver asked me, 'so which way do you want uncle to take?"
and i was, "any one would be fine"
and he went on talking about his daughter just getting into jc1 and asked me how college life was and all.
i mean, i acknowledge the fact that most cab drivers in singapore are really nice and amiable.
not sure if the motivation is the "most friendly cab driver award" or they are just being genuine and nice.
but still, i have encountered some who are just plain rude.
not going to elaborate on them coz they just get on my nerves real bad.
sheesh >_<

anyways, after dinner, i watched confessions of a shopaholic.
and i liked it.
something light-headed and a nice chick flick to my taste.
i mean, it had alot of things that i personally look for in a movie lol.

went out to watch avatar 3D with ball, unnaa, chan and yisi ytd! (:

met up at bugis and then had lunch at pastamania.
and everyone was sooo obsessed with coating their pasta with ALOT OF CHEESE. haha
cept me and ball coz my baked rice was too cheesy to begin with and ball doesn't like cheese.
but she was all into sprinkling cheese on other's pastas XDXD
oh and me, ball and yisi shared this really nice banana pizza ^^

was loitering in bhg where i found this really cute watermelon softyy!
it was like damnn nicee uhh
and there were bananas, chilli and orange softys toOo ;D

when it started, i had a hard time adjusting to the 3D glasses on top of my glasses.
and my eyes hurt real bad so had to take them off from time to time.
since i hadn't watched any 3D movie before, i was like trying to spot the difference between 3D and non 3D haha.
but there wasn't much of a difference cept the trees and ferns seemed to hover above us ;D

i know i'm really slow on blogging lately, especially since i have nothing to do these days. just sleeping for many many hours till my head hurts and then waking up and just spending the day away carelessly.

horrible way of spending the after-exam break. but really, i feel so lost and unsure about the next few months. everyone's like looking for jobs and stuff while i'm just lazing around, hoping to get more calls. sighs. i wish they would come quickly >_<

and so, i plan on spending the next 2 weeks going through all the info and all instead of just waking up late and mourning the absence of my lappy. BIG SIGHS. i'm not addicted to the comp or anything but not having my lappy with me makes me feel EMPTY! hah and i just said i'm not addicted to the comp. whatever. i just love my lappy alot and 2 weeks without it is going to be painful. i'm also considering leaving my omnia here incase it gets stolen when i'm there (like wth) but no omnia on top of no lappy is just too much to deal with. anw, hope that i can get on my dad's laptop once in a while and vent my frustrations.

today is bad.
actually, it was an awesome day until i came home, went on my lappy and read all terrible SS501 news. like i said, i didn't seem to be feeling the sadness even though i was sad for them. but really, hyunjoong being sick is totally bringing out all the sour feelings. it's so freaking cold in seoul right now (judging by what he's wearing in the pic above) and with all the heavy schedule, it's of little wonder that he fell sick. again. really, nothing seems to be going great (from my viewpoint) for them since their album release. or maybe, they are actually happy and satisfied themselves and if that's really the case, then i'm fine too. but knowing how hyunjoong loves winning awards, it's doubtful that they are really overjoyed right now.

i must be sounding totally insane, rattling on about other people's misery when i have lots of my own. but really, when you see these people going through such tough times with a (seemngly) smile on their faces, it's hard to mourn over my issues. especially when you see that sometimes even after extreme hardwork, they are not getting what they truely deserve and yet trying harder and harder instead of just giving up, you kinda feel encouraged too. right?

here's wishing that everything works out for both me and them. who knows, things may start to seem much brighter 3 weeks later. or even next year march (:

i want to sleeep!
it's the second time that i fell asleep while studying and woke up at 2 plus am and instead of going back to sleep like i would usually do (because i belive sleep is a sacred and holy thing), i'm trying to read about adenoviruses, retroviruses, adeno-associated viruses and all other sorts of disgusting, irrelevant things that i'm probably never going to indulge in after 3 weeks. watever.

it's obvious that my academic life is not going as smoothly as i want it to be. to add onto the exasperation, my DoubleS-fangirling life is going through a tough time as well. well not exactly me, but definitely SS oppas D: i'm like too dense with bio/chem to actually feel the sadness behind all these nonsense that they have to go through. aside that, i'm sad for them. even though i haven't yet registered the sadness, I AM SAD FOR THEM. rawr >_<

About the movie that Hyun Joong is rumored to do. Well, there's no confirmation yet coming from DSP but it seems that the rumor is alreacy a topic of discussion amongst fans. It's a mixed reaction. Well, for me I'm okay whether the rumor is true or not. But as some of you would know, I support 100% the solo activities of the members be it acting, djing, mcing, composing etc. My reason? They will not be idols forever so it's only right that DSP is introducing them to other fields. And I think that the members welcome this idea. But again, as I've written earlier, I hope that the solo activities will start when comeback, Persona concerts and 2nd Korean album is done.

Alright, not sure if some already know but another topic of discussion today amongst TS especially in Korea is the rumored non guesting of SS501 in Music Bank on Friday. Yes, there's a rumor and DSP hasn't said anything about his yet. So fans in Korea are already assuming and kinda disappointed. Do you know that there's a big chance of them winning in this week? Though it is possible to win without them appearing, but don't you think that the victory will be wonderful if SS501 will attend?

Btw, amongst the members of SS501 I think that Leader is the busiest today. It was said that he is recording a variety show [Dream Team] in today's very cold weather in Seoul. Actually, fans thought that he is recording this variety show in order for SS501 to be able to appear in Mubank [to clear their sked on Friday]. But unfortunately it was not the reason. Oh well, let's wait and see. DSP might just have a change of heart and let SS501 appear on MuBank on Friday.

P.S. I think it's no longer a rumor, it's confirmed that SS501 will not be in MuBank. KBS already announced. When asked KBS why, they said DSP didn't ask. While on the other side, when DSP was asked, DSP said KBS didn't ask. TS wants to know the real reason why. They're disappointed.

i bought the book today. initially, i wanted to buy a copy of Jane Eyre, since the one i had is currently lost, and read it again. anyways, it wasn't there - in the shelve with all the Puffin Classics. they have come up with re-prints of the classic; the cover looks so unfitting that at a glance, i thought it was part of the children's books section. i like the Penguin Classics cover more >_<

so anyways, i wanted to buy The Tale of Two Cities too but just looking at the thickness of the book, it put me off reading. I can put up with French Revolution and all that for a maximum of 500 pages, not beyond. but i'm anticipating wuthering heights and not because i read an excerpt off twilight. haha

i'm a literature noob and highly unaware of all the flowery languages; 2 pages down the book, i wished i had a dictionary with me. sheesh right?! but still, i like the stories. i once read many of them finish and hope to chuck all the nonsensical books aside to take up more serious reading after A's (:

woke up with a swollen and painful one eye. never had eye problems before so it's been bugging me since morning. it's like damn painful to even blink and even touching the area underneath the eye hurts D;

went out for dinner at swensens. while my dad's having a more festive mood back at my grandparents place, we shouldn't be resigned to our non-festive fate in SG. haha. anw, i hope tomorrow we'll make a trip to the festival place and see all the statues of gods and goddesses(: speaking of which, it's been more than 10 years since i last celebrated anything. it's not like my family is into godly stuff but it's nice to get together and have fun as a whole family.

and the highlight of the whole video; during the photoshoot he randomly asked the director if they could help him take an ID PICTURE of him for his passport and stuff. omg that was bloody random! just imagine the expressions of the photographer when asked to take a passport photo of the model. haha. so blur!

finally finished the kaplan ukcat course.
for being an online course, it was highly enriching and cleared all my disillusionments.
opened me up to the pages of seriously-bloody-hard questions which i didn't think of.

but atleast i've got the right directions now and not forgetting the huge amounts of EXTRA PRACTICES.

sleepover was like...any other sleepover.
cept that it was really short and all fuzzy coz we were really tired after rolling 12plus kimbaps.

met up with my darlings todayy! ;D
alicia, chan, unnaa, yisi, yunsu and even bern turned up so it was the biggest gathering we ever had. haha
we played tennis first.
so it wasn't exactly WE but more of chun ling and bern playing tennis and me, yisi and alicia picking up balls and taking random pictures. yunsu sprained her ankle so she couldn't play as well.
and chan and bern were sooo good at playing!
oh mann they almost hit me with the ball 2 times. haha

ordered pizzaa hut after much discussion. we are damn democratic lah. haha
so there were 2 LARGE pizzas, drumlets and baked rice for alicia which turned out to be just enough for 8 people (including my brother).

and yunsu totally went WTH at all my scribles on the refrigerator, which was mainly;

that's what i got confused with during bio today XD
ok so we were going through the evolution tutorial and when mr toh started discussing this random natural selection qs on the rock wallabies in northern australia, everyone thought he said PALLAVIS instead of WALLABIES.

today was short and sweet.

feeling really guilty right now.

i wouldn't say all the papers were equally horrible but i dare not say which was better lest it turns out all wrong.
i really wasn't well prepared and it was my fault. i won't blame it on nylf like a brat.
but i can't let my dad stay in disillusionment forever.

me and xiaowei went all the way to clementi to collect our double S CDs from the quainte girl. on the way, she was telling me about all the outings that the singapore double S fans have and i was kinda shocked. behold the power of the fangirls. anw, when we got the CDs, the girl actually asked us if we were going for the outing and i was like...uhhh XDXD

we went to kino next to buy the taiwan magazines with double S in them. i swear i couldn't belive i was actually buying a double S magazine and not crazily saving scans from the internet. haha

double S fandom didn't stop there. like duhhh. went to hmv to check if they had the new taiwan edition dvd but of course they didn't. sheesh. so went to the sembawang in raffles city and they didn't have it tooOo. sg should have more korean stuff! waaa.

wallet hunting! apparantly all the designers are running out of nice wallet designs. found none that i really liked. sheesh. even the bags which were at 1/2 price didn't look entirely nice. the one that i really liked was like $77. sooo ex >_<

An embarrassing moment was that, due to after dancing vigorously and the tight pants, and facing the female fans, physiological responses naturally arises, few of them shown different level of responses as seen from their pants....They also praised that Hong Kong is very pretty and they also know that Hong Kong has got many well known directors like John Woo and Taiwan's Ang Lee. If given a chance, they would like to work with these directors and jokingly said that they don't mind sleeping with them.

NYLF, Washington DC (Georgetown University)

it was undoubtedly the best experience i had in my short life so far. i was freaking reluctant to go at first coz of stupid reasons like a)what if i lose my passport b)what if all those american students are highly unfriendly bunch of peeps c)what if i can't wake up on time in the morning and many more what ifs. paranoia. anw, i was of course damn wrong about everything. NYLF wasn't only enriching and reallyy insightful, it was surprisingly really fun as well! not to mention, the things i did there for the first time and the experiencing university life. i'm preety sure that nylf wouldn't have been half as good if not for my group BANTING and the 7 other victorians(:

so it turned out that we were the only non-americans there except for a few from puerto rico. yay vj! haha. anw, they were all really nice people, not forgetting really outgoing and outspoken. O_o during the MED sessions, it seemed like i was the only one not really talking much while the rest were constantly talking and answering the numerous questions posed by our Faculty Advisor, Felicia. i did start to talk more and participate more and as the days progressed, i got more involved. i guess i changed in terms of that aspect atleast; being involved more in discussions and more willing to share my opinions. usually when we have discussions in class, i would always be listening and not sharing my own views unless asked. and there was the DJ DANCE! omg it was soo awesomeee. partly coz i never been to one before in sg.

the oh-so-tiring schedule. it was really painful. getting up 5am and dragging all the way until 11pm. but it was generally well-planned, despite the exhausion. there were SOCIALS when all the 351 participants got together in the squad and had the chance to mingle around. usually, no one ever looked forward to social as sleep seemed to be a better option XD. and there were MED sessions everyday, somedays having as much as 5 to 6 of them. those sometimes felt draggy and i often fell asleep during the talks and stuff but they were still made great by the awesome people of BANTING. yay (:

DAY 1: reached georgetown so late that could only attend the first MED session
DAY 2: Leadership in the field of medicine, problem-based learning (PBL), SOCIAL
DAY 3: Medical school experience (Howard University college of medicine), life as a resident.
DAY 4: live surgery (total knee replacement), the Future of Public Health, Health care in the 21st century.
DAY 5: clinical experience (Johns Hopkins hospital), what's your speciality, SOCIAL
DAY 6: the Personal Dimension, Patient care, D.J. Dance
DAY 7: principles in practice (blood pressure, suturing), exploring washington's monuments, pentagon city shopping.
DAY 8: more sight-seeing, M street shopping, group spirit performance.
DAY 9: Follow your Dreams, public health simulation, farewell dinner dance cruise.
DAY 10: final MED session

for the friends i made, you all are an awesome bunch of people that i'll neer forget. my roommate, Sarah, was really nice and accomodating and we had all sorts of random convo :D to all my BANTING mates;

today was funnn! (:

me, aaron, charissa, aileen and florence went up to the skygarden.
we tried going there before but somehow got stalked T_T
anw, charissa said she could rmb the way through the 15th floor IHPC
so we all followed her after lunch.
the 15th floor was like a maze.
and the pantry was much better than our one.
they are freaking biased T_T

so we finally ended up at the skygarden.
and it wasn't much of a garden
more like a place infiltrated with green leaves
and small pools of water that was stagnated by some stuff O_o
aaron was like...
"this is such a mosquoto breeding place" XD
there was even this narrow illusion of a river.
gosh they tried their best to actually try to make the super high-tech place look natural
O___o

there was a sky bridge linking connexis to the other building
it was so high up that we could see even the ferris wheel O_o
really awesome!
i never saw so much of singapore from one place alone
prolly can see from the top of BT hill. haha
anw, the other building skygarden had a short pebble trail
and at the end, there was another stagnated pool of water.

on the way back we noticed this void room on the other side.
and since i was in no wish to return to my desk, we went inside.
it was obviously under construction
and surprisingly cold O_0
charissa said that we should go up there to have lunch sometimes.
hopefully we'll be going up there tmr? :P
